With Will Clyburn’s injury, which will keep him out at least until mid-March 2025 (click here for more details), Virtus Bologna is forced to return to the market. The first names linked, as in the past, are James Nunnally (now a free agent) and Edmond Sumner (currently in China).
However, according to “La Repubblica”, the Vu Nere are also considering the profile of Xavier Sneed. The 1997-born American forward made his European debut last season, playing in Italy with Happy Casa Brindisi. With the Pugliese team, the Saint Louis native averaged 16.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, registering an average evaluation of 18.6.
In the summer of 2024, Xavier Sneed moved to Israel to join Bnei Herzeliya, where he currently averages 20.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 16.7 in the Winner League. Throughout his career, the Kansas Wildcats product has had a notable experience in the NBA G-League, a league that Virtus Bologna continues to monitor for potential opportunities from overseas.
