Damien Jefferson: A Champions League Talent

Damien Jefferson is making a name for himself in Turkey with Pinar Karsiyaka. The 1997-born guard from East Chicago is averaging 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in the Basketball Champions League and 10.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the Turkish league (Basketbol Süper Ligi). Over the course of his career, he has also played for the Basketball Club Oostende (Belgium) and for Stockton Kings and Memphis Hustle in the NBA G-League (USA).

Virtus Bologna seems highly interested in him, and Jefferson could be the right addition to strengthen the roster for coach Luca Banchi’s team.
