MARKET – Jordan Mickey, after his experience with Virtus Bologna, is heading to China: the signing with the Qingdao Eagles is official.

Jordan Mickey is making his move to China. The Dallas native became a free agent on June 30, 2024, after the expiration of his two-year contract with Segafredo Virtus Bologna, signed in the summer of 2022. Now, after a few months without a team, the American forward is ready for a new adventure away from Europe. The 1994-born player has signed a contract with the Qingdao Eagles, a team in the Chinese top league. In recent weeks, his name had been linked again to the Vu Nere as a potential reinforcement for the frontcourt.

Jordan Mickey: Virtus Bologna and Career

In the 2023/24 season, Jordan Mickey averaged 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in Serie A, and 8.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.5 assists in EuroLeague. With Virtus Bologna, he won 2 Italian Super Cups. Throughout his career, he has also played for the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Khimki Moscow, Zenit St. Petersburg, and Real Madrid.
