Virtus Bologna remains winless and at the bottom of the EuroLeague standings after a tough loss to AS Monaco, who secured a comfortable 101-85 victory in the fourth round of the regular season. The Bianconeri (Black and Whites) had a promising first half, even leading by as many as 11 points at the 14th minute (25-36), but went into the break with just a one-point lead (46-47). However, after halftime, the Monegasques took control of the game, extending their advantage to +20 by the 38th minute (94-74). In the closing minutes, Virtus attempted to reduce the deficit, but once again, they returned home without a win.

MVP of the match was Mike James, who ended with 19 points (6/11 from 2, 1/2 from 3, 4/5 from the free-throw line), 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and a 29 efficiency rating (PIR). For AS Monaco, Elie Okobo also stood out with 20 points and 6 assists, while Mam Jaiteh contributed 15 points and 7 rebounds. Matthew Strazel added 12 points, and Jordan Loyd finished with 11 points and 3 rebounds.
